The Actipoche Clay Back and Belly thermal cushion relieves pain through its hot (thermotherapy) or cold (cryotherapy) action. This device is based on natural clay to relieve pain without the use of drugs.
Its ergonomic format enables it to relieve localized back and stomach pain.
Hot applications: muscle contractures, backache, torticollis, lumbago, menstrual pain.
Cold applications: strains, blows and hematomas.

Do not use:
In case of known allergy to any of the components.
Do not use ACTIPOCHE thermal pad beyond the expiration date indicated on the product.
Do not use hot:
- On bruises or bumps within 48 hours of injury, as heat may aggravate swelling or bruising.
- On oedema, inflamed areas or the abdomen of pregnant women.
- In case of malignant tumor of the area to be treated.
- In case of thermal sensitivity deficiency or in a paraplegic patient.
Do not use when cold:
- In case of cold urticaria.
- Hypersensitivity or allergy to cold.
- Raynaud's disease.
- In case of paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.
- Trigeminal nerve neuropathy.
- In case of thermal sensitivity deficiency or in paraplegic patients.

- Do not use with topical analgesics and/or anesthetics (such as creams, balms, lotions, liniments, etc.).
- Do not exert strong pressure on the cushion during use.

he ACTIPOCHE cushion is easy to use, but must be prepared without its cover:
For hot use: in a microwave oven (1000 W power): 2 x 25 seconds maximum or in hot water (not boiling, < 80°C): 35 seconds maximum. Then apply the cushion, in its cover, to the painful area for around 20 to 30 minutes.
For cold use: refrigerate for approx. 3 hours 30 minutes, or freeze for up to 45 minutes. Then apply the cushion in its cover to the painful area for a maximum of 20 minutes.
