For dogs and cats: treatment of motion sickness and vomiting.

Tablets can be administered directly into the animal's mouth or mixed with a small amount of food.
Tablets should be taken about ½ hour before departure.
Dosage can be adapted to each individual case.

Specific References

5 mg dimenhydrinate per kg bodyweight per oral dose, according to the following table:

Animal weightNumber of tablets per dose
Dogs and cats from 2 to 4 kg ¼ to ½ tablet
Dogs and cats from 5 to 9 kg ½ to 1 tablet
Dogs from 10 to 19 kg 1 to 2 tablets
Dogs from 20 to 29 kg 2 to 3 tablets
Dogs 30 kg and over 1 tablet per 10 kg

Do not administer to animals under 4 months of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg.
