Blephaclean is recommended for daily eyelid hygiene, particularly :
-
for sensitive skin, eyelids and eyes;
-
to remove dust, pollen and secretions from the eyelids, as part of allergy or infection care;
-
in cases of eyelid inflammation or infection, such as blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, styes or chalazion. These conditions can cause dry eye symptoms such as stinging, gritty feeling in the eyes, irritation and/or redness;
-
to cleanse the eyelids before ophthalmic procedures such as therapeutic injections directly into the eye (intra-vitreal injections), laser eye surgery and cataract surgery. As Blephaclean is well tolerated, it can also be used after surgery, on the advice of a doctor or ophthalmologist.
Blephaclean keeps eyelids clean while respecting the skin around the eyes and the bacteria naturally present.
