DRONTAL Dog - 2 Tablets
Drontal Chien (from 5 kg) treats mixed infections by several species of nematodes and cestodes in dogs.
Drontal Chien (from 5 kg) treats mixed infections by several species of nematodes and cestodes in dogs.
These are worms that colonize the animal's intestine. Their presence can be a considerable nuisance for the dog, causing a wide range of disorders. They can cause digestive, neurological and pulmonary problems. The coat of an infected animal may show holes and be dull in appearance. Worms can also cause itching in the anus area, causing the animal to drag its buttocks along the ground. They also have an impact on the affected dog's growth.
There are two main categories of intestinal parasites in dogs: roundworms, also known as nematodes, and tapeworms, or cestodes.
Thanks to its three active ingredients Fébantel, Pyrantel and Praziquantel, Drontal chien is effective against the following species:
Roundworms: Ascarids (mature and immature adults) : Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina Hookworms (adults): Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum Trichocephalus (adults): Trichuris vulpis
Flatworms (mature and immature adults) : Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia ssp.
Drontal chien comes in the form of meat-flavored tablets, easily accepted by the animal .
