Picot Expert AR 1st age is an infant milk suitable for children aged 0 to 6 months. It is specially designed for babies suffering from regurgitation or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is thickened with carob. It also provides DHA, docosahexaenoic acid, an essential fatty acid for the body.
Regurgitation and gastro-oesophageal reflux generally occur between 0 and 12 months. They are caused by a combination of liquid feeding, lying down most of the time, and an immature digestive tract.
As the carob in this anti-regurgitation milk thickens the milk during bottle-feeding, an adapted teat may be necessary.this infant milk is not suitable for infants with an allergy to cow's milk proteins.
This is a foodstuff intended for special medical purposes (DADFMS).
Picot Expert AR 1st age milk is made in France. Laboratoires Picot, founded in 1896, are specialists in toddler nutrition.

Important notice: breast milk is the ideal, natural food for every infant. However, if you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, your doctor will recommend a formula that meets your child's specific nutritional needs. Do not change your formula without consulting your doctor. Picot Expert AR - 1st age can be used as the sole source of nutrition for the first 6 months. The decision to introduce complementary foods should be made on the advice of health professionals. Use under medical supervision. Not to be administered parenterally.

Wash hands thoroughly before preparing bottle.
Only use water that is suitable for infants, or that has been previously boiled.
Pour the recommended amount of water into the bottle, lukewarm (40° C maximum). Refer to the feeding guide.
Add the appropriate number of scoops. They must be shaved and not packed. The measuring spoon supplied with the box must be used. Do not add sugar.
Close the bottle. Shake circularly and vertically until the powder is completely dissolved.
Milk should be lukewarm - 37°C. Check temperature by pouring a few drops onto the inside of the wrist.
After use, clean the bottle and accessories thoroughly. To sterilize, immerse in boiling water for 10 minutes, or place in a suitable sterilizing solution. Drain, then seal the bottle tightly until ready to use.

Dosage: one level measuring spoon - 4.5 g - in 30 ml of water. The volume and number of bottles are given for guidance only. The medical profession may adapt these quantities to your child's specific needs.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOUR CHILD'S HEALTH :

Prepare the bottle immediately before feeding.
For your baby's health, follow preparation and storage instructions carefully.
Use only the measuring spoon contained in the Picot Expert AR 1st age can.
Dispose of the rest of the bottle without hesitation.
After each use, clip the measuring spoon onto the lid of the can and close it.
Store the closed tin in a cool, dry place and use the powder within one month of opening.
Monitor your child's weight gain regularly.
