This Vegetal Oil is the fruit of a maceration of dried organic Carrot roots in organic Sunflower oil extracted by 1st cold pressing. It is a highly concentrated 5% oily macerate of carrot roots. After removing the macerated carrot roots and filtering the vegetable oil, organic Rosemary extract is added to protect the carotenoids in the oily macerate from oxidation.
This macerate contains numerous plant pigments (carotenoids) derived from the β-carotene present in carrot roots. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin E and linoleic fatty acid (around 60%).
Β-carotene, responsible for the macerate's orange color, is known for its healthy-glow effect.
