For men and women who want to combine deodorant effectiveness with long-lasting freshness.

Vichy extreme freshness deodorant combats unpleasant odours caused by perspiration without blocking its natural process. Secreted by the sweat glands, present all over the body with a greater number in the armpits, sweat helps regulate body temperature. In fact, when the body experiences a heat surge, caused by more intense physical activity or a fever, perspiration moistens the skin to bring the temperature down. Comprising 99% water, sweat also includes organic molecules such as lipids and proteins. And while sweat is by nature odorless, it encourages the proliferation of bacteria which, by breaking down organic compounds, cause the unpleasant underarm fumes.
This deodorant spray, developed by Vichy Laboratories, containslactic acid andsodium hydroxide, both of which have bacteriostatic properties. They neutralize the proliferation of bacteria while regulating the skin's pH to prevent excessive acidification. Moreover, lactic acid simply reinforces the lactic acid already naturally present in perspiration.

And should odors escape bacterial neutralization, the Ricinoleic Zinc in Vichy's Extreme Freshness deodorant is there to absorb them. This spray limits white and yellow marks on clothing, while keeping your skin fresh for 24 hours.
