Recommended for all types of cough (dry or productive/fatty), Arkotoux® Sirop acts on several levels through its physical action:

Relieves coughs through its protective effect against external irritants.
Facilitates physiological expectoration by hydrating mucus in the upper respiratory tract.
Reduces irritation and protects the throat thanks to its film-forming properties.

Arkotoux® Syrup also contains Thyme extract, known for its antioxidant and mucosa-protecting properties. After 4 days of use, Arkotoux® Syrup reduces the frequency and intensity of coughs.

Specific References

For oral use. Shake bottle before use.

Children aged 2 to 5: Take 1 teaspoon (5 ml), once a day.
Children aged 6 to 12: Take 1 te aspoon (5 ml), 2 times a day.
Adults and adolescents over 12: Take 2 teaspoons (10 ml), 2 times a day.

Contraindications

Do not use in :

for children under 2 years of age.
in case of allergy to one or more components.
in case of respiratory insufficiency.

Precautions for use

As a precautionary measure, Arkotoux® Syrup is not recommended for pregnant women during the first trimester.
During treatment, if the child presents any of the following symptoms, medical attention is required: worsening cough, fatigue, secondary-onset fever, respiratory discomfort, noticeable drop in appetite.
If you are intolerant to sugars, ask your health care professional for advice.
Do not combine Arkotoux® Syrup with other cough syrups.
Use the syrup away from any medication (at least 1 hour).
If symptoms persist beyond 4 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.

Arkotoux® Syrup should be taken between meals.
A minimum interval of 4 hours is recommended between 2 doses.
Repeat doses as needed.

Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Use within 30 days of opening.
Close bottle tightly after use.
