EPITHELIUM FLEX®, a patented technology, offers a flexible, ultra-thin orthosis to fit all shoes.

The EPITACT® hallux valgus corrective orthosis has been developed to meet 3 objectives:

  • The EPITACT® corrective orthosis support strap combined with an EPITHELIUM™ silicone pad aims to push back the first metatarsal and thus limit forefoot crushing;
  • The external EPITHELIUM FLEX®silicone tendon is designed to straighten the toe;
  • Finally, the external silicone tendon is designed to relieve joint pain andabsorb pressure on the bunion.

Well-maintained, it can be used daily for several months.

3 sizes available. To choose your size, measure the circumference of the foot just below the bunion. If you hesitate between 2 sizes, choose the smallest.

  • S (up to 21.5 cm)
  • M (from 21.5 to 23 cm)
  • L (from 23 cm).

Specific References

  • The orthosis should not be used if the big toe is no longer laterally mobile.
  • Read instructions carefully. Machine wash at 40°C, in the wash bag supplied.

Silicone gels. Polyamide elastane fabric.

  • Do not use if the big toe is no longer laterally mobile.
  • Do not use on wounds.
  • Do not use at night.
