Phytobiane Harpagophytum is designed for people in need of joint health support, thanks to its harpagophytum-based composition.
For over 20 years, the PiLeJe laboratory has been developing plant expertise that combines knowledge of plant properties with advances in scientific, agronomic and clinical research. Laboratoire PiLeJe ensures the quality of its plants through controlled supply chains complying with strict specifications. Research carried out in partnership with the producers of our products enables us to optimize the active ingredient content of our plants, as well as their preservation up to the extraction stage.
What is harpagophytum?
Commonly known as "devil's claw" because of its fruit and hooked spines, harpagophytum is a plant native to southern Africa that thrives in arid environments.
What are the benefits of harpagophytum?
Harpagophytum roots contain active ingredients known as harpagosides, which enable the plant to help maintain joint health. In fact, Harpagophytum helps maintain good mobility by helping to keep joints and tendons flexible.
Where does the harpagophytum in Phytobiane come from?
We have selected harpagophytum that is certified organic and grown in a region close to the Namib Desert, with no infrastructure whatsoever.
The roots are harvested by hand. They are then sliced to dry more quickly in the sun.
Its active ingredients, which are not very sensitive, withstand heat well, as well as transportation by boat to France.
Our harpagophytum extract is then produced in France. We apply a specific extraction process to each plant to extract the Phyto-Signature PiLeJe Complex (PSPC), guaranteeing its biological activity.
Phytobiane Harpagophytum has been developed in an extended-release form, which enables the active ingredient to be released over a longer period than a conventional form.
PiLeJe's Phytobiane range thus offers several nutritional solutions made from raw materials rigorously selected for their active ingredient content.
