Weleda Bébé au Calendula is designed to accompany baby's massage and nourish the skin.
Perfectly suited to body care and early development, this oil contains the treasures of nature to offer Baby its benefits.
Thanks to its generous calendula content, this gentle oil is an excellent natural skin care product, with precious components such as carotenoids, flavonoids and triterpene saponins.
Carotenoids are orange pigments of the carotene family. They can be converted into vitamin A, an essential vitamin for the immune system, and a formidable antioxidant capable of protecting cells against free radicals, as well as a photoprotective agent. Flavonoids, for their part, have strong antioxidant properties.
The calendula contained in this exceptional oil was grown in Weleda's largest biodynamic medicinal plant garden in southern Germany.
Together with chamomile extract, this oil increases its beneficial properties for the skin tenfold, as this active ingredient has anti-allergic, anti-pruritic, anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
What's more, apricot kernel oil extract considerably activates cell regeneration, nourishing weakened skin and restoring its elasticity and tone.
Finally, sesame oil extract reinforces and boosts the antioxidant, regenerating functions of the above oils, while providing powerful penetration to leave no oily film on Baby's skin.
