Fitonasal Spray Concentrate is a protective decongestant indicated for colds, allergies and, more generally, congestion and irritation of the nasal cavities associated with acute and chronic disorders. Fitonasal Spray Concentrate is a product whose activity is determined by all the components in the formulation. One of the most important of these is TANNISAL-FL, a molecular complex composed of tannins, flavonoids and gem salt which, combined with vegetable glycerine, gives the product the following actions:

1. a non-pharmacological decongestant action, due to:

the local astringent action. This is due to the non-specific interaction between the product and proteins, including bradykinin, an inflammatory protein present in nasal secretions. This interaction facilitates elimination;
with balanced, standardized osmolality (750 mOsm/Kg). It promotes the elimination of fluids from congested mucous membranes, thus liquefying mucus and facilitating its elimination, which is itself reinforced by a physical action that washes the nasal cavity. It thus acts without irritating or drying out the mucous membrane.
2. a protective effect, thanks to its muco-adhesive and antioxidant action, which helps maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier and the mucous membrane's regeneration process.

Specific References

Dosage adults and children over 12: apply 2 sprays per nostril, blow nose and repeat application.

Dosage for children aged 6 to 12: apply 1 spray per nostril, blow nose and repeat application.

After each use, clean the nozzle with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. We recommend applying Fitonasal Spray concentrate several times a day, even a few hours apart, and repeating the spray before going to bed.

TANNISAL-FL: standardized molecular complex composed of a tannin fraction and a flavonoid fraction (from Witch Hazel and Thyme), and Gem Salt (chemically untreated mined salt). Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Natural Eucalyptus flavor and Natural Mint flavor.
